Jessi and Barry Love to eat
We love food and drink. We love restaurant and pub culture. One of our first dates was a charity event that featured fifty of the best restaurants in Atlanta. It was the start of a fantastic marriage.
Jessi is an amazing cook with a crush on butter and cheese.
Barry enjoys eating whatever his wife cooks. He likes to cook a bit himself- usually whatever he has shot or caught.
We moved back to Tallahassee, Barry’s home town, and have been on a constant search for great food.

Enjoyed your blog! I’m a Facebook fan of Angelette’s so saw it when they bragged on your review. I’m a close friend of the owners of Morelia’s Authentic Mexican – don’t know if you know but they’ve been in Tallahassee over 13 years but had to move last year due to lease issue. They’ve been open not quite a year in their new location, 1355 Market Square, in shopping center at corner of Timberlane & Market St. and could use some more word-of-mouth recommendations. Please give them a try, Jesus makes a wonderful Mexican guacamole and he’s a great guy!
When we got back from a trip to New Orleans we were sad that we would be without good Cajun food. Well we read your review of Angelette’s and gave it a try. It really did make the grade for Cajun cooking. I especially liked their Crawfish Etouffee with a bottle of Abitta beer.
